What happens to your enquiry
The quote form on this site is provided by our quote partner Bark.com. When you complete it, the details you enter (name, contact details, postcode and job description) go directly to Bark, who share them with rated local heating professionals so they can contact you with quotes. This happens under Bark's privacy policy, and Bark is the controller of that enquiry data. We never see or store your enquiry details ourselves.
We do not receive, use or store your enquiry details: the introduction is handled end-to-end by Bark.com, and up to a handful of rated local professionals may respond to each enquiry with quotes. We may be paid a fee by Bark for introductions made through this site. The only data handling we carry out ourselves is the privacy-respecting site measurement described below.
Calls
If you call us, calls may be answered by an automated assistant and may be recorded for quality and enquiry-handling purposes. You'll always be told at the start of the call.
Analytics and cookies
We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, buttons tapped). This collects no personal data and sets no cookies, so no consent banner is needed.
How long we keep data
We hold no enquiry data, so there is nothing of yours for us to retain or delete. Bark's own retention periods apply to the enquiry you submit through their form.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase and restrict processing of your personal data, and to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). For the enquiry you submit through the Bark form, contact Bark directly. For anything else, email [email protected] and we'll sort it.
Changes
If how we handle data changes, this policy will be updated before the change goes live and the date above will change.
